Jaxen is the Principal and Artistic Director of Rhythm Identity Dance Academy which is one of the main latin dance school in Malaysia specializing in dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk Lambada, Kizomba, Latin Ballroom and Argentine Tango. He was the Malaysian Salsa Champion back in 2005 and was also known as the Malaysian Bachata King. He specializes in the various sub-styles of bachata such as Dominican, Moderna and other fusion styles and is well known for the close hold sensual style. He is also the pioneer of Brazilian Zouk Lambada in Malaysia and alongside with his partner Cecilia they have built a name as one of Asia’s leading zouk instructor and dance couple.

Jaxen organizes one of the largest zouk festival in Asia, namely the Zouk SEA Festival and has performed together with world renowned names such as Kadu & Larissa, Bruno & Eglantine and also Alisson Sandi. He has taught and performed in events such as the Malaysian Salsa Festival, Malaysian Bachata Festival, World Bachata Festival, World Latin Salsa Congress, Singapore Salsa Congress, Salsa Cruise Asia, Singapore International Bachata Festival, Bali Salsa Fiesta, Boracay Salsa Festival, Sydney International Bachata Festival, Bangkok Salsa Festival, India International Dance Festival and the Hong Kong Salsa Festival.
